Christopher Jones was an innocent 14 year old boy that was brutally beaten to death while innocently riding his bike home on May 30, 2009. He was a kind, caring, honest, compassionate, fun loving kid with a huge heart. For years, Chris carried the books of a classmate who was bound to a wheelchair and never told his parents or looked for praise from anyone. He did it...because it was right.
Chris always wanted to help people and make the world a better place. He had aspirations of following in his Dads footsteps and becoming a police officer, a career where he could really make a difference.
Chris has several relatives and cousins that miss him very much. One cousin, Jack, suffers from Autism, a terrible neurological disorder that effects communication and social interaction skills. That never stopped Chris from treating Jack like everyone else. Loving him and interacting with him whenever they were together. To donate $5000 to a charity so close to Chris, would mean so very much.
Chris was only able to bless us for 14 years, but he served, he cared, and most importantly, he loved. What an honor it would be to do this in his name. We are pleading to stop childhood violence.
His family is creating a Life Station for kids! It will be built in the Annapolis, MD area in his memory in 2010.Chris is loved and missed by many, and will never be forgotten. Please vote!!
